" After owning 6 Vikings and selling my 108'Lazzarra, I approached Randall Burg to locate another Viking for me. To my surprise the 1st Viking he showed me was the exact boat I had in mind and I made an offer within 30 minutes of  getting aboard the yacht.  He negotiated the price  by the next day and arranged for the haul out, survey, and sea trial for two day later. Following the reports I accepted the vessel and took ownership less then two weeks after seeing the yacht! Randall was by my side every step of the way and was aboard to assist with moving the boat to my new slip in Palm Beach. And even more amazing is that Randall tracked down some missing component that the listing broker had removed from the boat- and - spent 6 hours with the previous captain doing a video of the captain showing how all the on board system operate!! Wow - now that a rare yacht broker. Randall presented me with a memory stick with the video for reference on the systems operations! Randall Burg  is truly the "Concierge Yacht Broker!"

My wife and I recently bought boat through Randall Burg and it was a great overall experience. I had called and emailed other brokerages and nobody ever got back to me. This is a little surprising. If you sell big ticket items and somebody actually calls you to inquire about that item would it not make sense to call them back? He walked us through every step of the boat buying process. Once he knew what we were looking for he took me straight to the boat that we ended up buying a few days later. He even met my wife during the evening hours to show her the boat since she couldn't get away from work during the day. Now that's customer service! The next time we're in the market for a boat we'll definitely come back to Randall Burg.

“I wanted to let you know how happy my wife Melinda and I are about a recent experience we had with your Newport office, and particularly with the Randall Burg.


It all started New Years eve after reading an advertisement. I read the ad and clicked the link on a boat that I had previously admired several months earlier, but thought out of my reach. I emailed an offer to the contact and on New Years Day called to inquirer about it. Of course I did not expect to talk with a person, after all I know I am alone in my excitement about things most of the time, but what the heck I though, and called the number.


The first conversation with the Randall Burg led to seeing the boat New Years Day! I am an optimistic person, but to be honest I could see this boat slowly slipping away from us for various reasons, number one being that Melinda and I are in no way ever going to own a boat like that.


Ok, I admit I am sarcastic, so let me just get to the point. I have 35 years experience in quality assurance and quality control. so I felt that I know a bit about what makes something or someone qualified to have the word tagged on. Everyone claims it, but few can actually deliver. They come close, but there is always something in there quest for perfect defect free service that leaves lingering doubt. This is hard to overcome. I believe the way they make up for less then perfect is the most important component of anything, one that, as a Country we seem to have forgotten about and that would be the people.


The Randall Burg instantly overcame this limiting factor and earned the 5 star Quality rating within 1 minute of talking on the phone with me. New Years day? No problem. Know nothing about boats? No problem. “I am a Yacht Salesman and that is why I am here, let me help you own your dream and I will help you understand not just the purchase, but how this big piece of fiberglass can make you happy?”.


It was truly amazing. I still can’t believe it happened and our lives have changed in ways we only read about in novels and see acted out in the movies.


And just to let you know, I do not write letters at all and never fill out quality surveys. I just wanted to let you know that who you hired is a very quality person that can connect to people and give them an experience that is positive.


To expand on this a bit, the Randall Burg was there at every phase: from offer acceptance, survey, sea trial, delivery, documentation and just general things that go into buying a boat. The Randall Burg obviously loves what he does and is very knowledgeable on the subject. This was apparent at every juncture associated with getting this extremely cool boat into our hands. Melinda and I are very grateful to have had the good fortune of dealing with a Randall Burg, and will never forget what he has done for us.”

"During our search for a Donzi 22 ZX we found one on Randall's website. After a lot of email contact and some phone calls my brother and I decided to book a flight to LA to meet Randall and to see the boat. We were surprised about the condition of the boat and how Randall, his team and the owner helped us during the sea trial and inspection of the boat.


The boat was as he told it was, in nearly new condition!!! After signing the final contracts and preparing the boat for transport to Holland we flew back with a big smile on our faces. Now waiting for the boat to arrive in Belgium so we can pick it up there and enjoy it this summer on the Dutch waters.
